St. Patrick’s Day, or the Feast of Saint is a cultural and religious celebration held on the 17th of March, the traditional death date of St. Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland. Today’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations have been greatly influenced by those that developed among the Irish decent, especially in North America. The United States has definitely made this holiday their own, but I don’t think anyone is complaining! These celebrations generally include public parades, the wearing of green attire and, of course, shamrocks.
Living in Eagle valley, St. Patrick’s Day usually falls on one of those days that we anticipate all winter. Blue bird deck days, perfect day for drinking beer and catching a car bomb or two with family and friends. If you’re looking for a good time, you are sure to find it like a pot of gold! Being a local to this wonderful valley for 10 years I have learned today is a day everyone celebrates! So, here are a few of my favorite places to go and kick back and enjoy this holiday!
